Join NVIDIA's SOC group as a Design Methodology Engineer to define and develop system-level methodologies and tools for scalable SOC creation. Identify inefficiencies in the front-end chip implementation and propose improvements; work on AI Agent solutions to tackle SOC design challenges. Collaborate with ASIC, Physical Design, CAD, Package Design, Software, DFT and other teams to enable optimized SOC builds. We are now packing hundreds of billions of transistors in a chip to meet the growing computing demand in a footprint that is responsible to our environment. The NVIDIA System-On-Chip (SOC) group is looking for a top ASIC Methodology Engineer with a curiosity about SOC design automation, RTL integration, and chip build and assembly. You should have real passion for methodologies and automation solutions that enable SOC creation in the most optimized way.

In this position, there is the opportunity to face the challenge in building the complex GPU and Tegra chips and have chances to use cutting edge technology to solve those challenges. Participate in developing intelligent application systems based on Large Language Models (LLMs) for Chip Design, including conversational systems, intelligent assistants, and knowledge Q&A systems. developing AI Agent systems, learning multi-agent collaboration and workflow orchestration.

And also you will have chances to interact directly with unit-level ASIC, Physical Design, CAD, Package Design, Software, DFT and other teams.

What you'll be doing:

  • Define and develop system-level methodologies and tools to build SOCs in an efficient and scalable manner
  • Identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities in the front-end chip implementation process and propose ideas to tackle them
  • Using and developing AI Agent to solve SOC Design related challenges

What we need to see:

  • MS in Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of proven experience EDA, AI and methodology
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Has dependency management experience in a project, has AI development experience, has database concept
  • Experienced script skills: Perl, Python, or other industry-standard scripting languages.
  • Great communication and teamwork skills to interact within the team and across functional teams to build consensus
