NVIDIA is hiring passionate Software Engineer Interns to support growing performance testing of company products. You will join our global performance lab team and help improve our ability to accurately test many AI applications and hardware platforms.

What you'll be doing:

  • Implement the leading AI technologies to streamline Perflab workflows, optimizing test costs and improving efficiency.

  • Work with NVIDIA's global experts to tackle intriguing challenges and drive impactful project developments.

  • Use PerfLab's advanced infrastructure to compose, build, and maintain software systems, tools, and AI agents, providing immense value to our diverse customers.

What we need to see:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Python in Unix and Windows environments, with strong fundamentals of software development.

  • Understanding of ML/DL techniques, algorithms and tools with exposure to CNN, RNN, Transformers (ViT, BERT, BART, GPT/T5, Megatron, LLMs).

  • Proven experience with crafting and implementing AI applications such as AI agents, RAG, MCP tools etc.

  • Understanding of MLOps life cycle and experience with MLOps workflows & traceability, curation & augmentation of datasets.

  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, effective influence within a dynamic matrix environment.

  • Excellence in written and oral English.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • Practical experience in AI model development, training, evaluation and deployment.

  • Expertise in training and fine-tuning LLMs using popular frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow or Hugging Face Transformers.

  • Good knowledge of embedding models and vector DB.

  • Prior experience with agentic LLM frameworks like Langchain, LangGraph, LLamaIndex etc.

  • Proven track record of innovation and problem solving, showcased through hackathons, published papers, open-source contribution, competitions, or innovative projects.
