The AI Engineer, Investment Services will be responsible for exploring opportunities to develop and build potential solutions that leverage GenAI and Machine Learning in an effort to deliver innovative, GenAI driven products that seek to enhance the firm's business processes and enterprise intelligence.

You will play a unique role by designing and implementing advanced GenAI/ML techniques and applications to solve key business problems across various departments with an aim to enhance operational intelligence, efficiency, and decision-making capabilities. Your projects will span both on-premises and AWS environments, leveraging technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Cloud warehouses, and Data Lakes, and employing programming languages like Python, Java, and SQL.

As part of the AI/ML community at Point72, our teams collaborate horizontally with one another and vertically with our AI Platform and Data Teams, and Compliance to define the AI Strategy for the firm including its infrastructure, architecture, models, and data needs. What you’ll do

• Identify opportunities and develop technical roadmaps for GenAI solutions
• Scope, prioritize, prototype and deliver GenAI projects to help solve key business problems for Point72’s Investment Services teams. Your work/projects will span both on-premises and AWS environments, leverage technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Cloud warehouses, and Data Lakes, and use programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL
• Lead collaborations across the firm, where appropriate, on GenAI/ML initiatives and techniques
• Deliver analytics and insights to measure the value of solutions delivered
• Partner with groups across the firm such as Technology and Compliance on GenAI initiatives
• Partner internally to establish rigorous model governance practices, including testing, monitoring, and documentation to ensure solutions remain accurate and bias-free
• Stay up to date on AI/ML market landscape, trends, and technological innovations to provide recommendations on new tools and methodologies for adoption

What’s required

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience
• Demonstrated success leveraging AI/ML to drive/improve business outcomes
• The ability to develop, own, and provide technical leadership over AI solutions, including model selection, fine-tuning, and ideally model development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The annual base salary range for this role is $175,000-$225,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package.
