Qualcomm is expanding its leadership in automotive computing from high-performance cockpit electronics to advanced L2/L3/L4 ADAS and autonomous driving solutions. Our global team is actively designing and prototyping the brain of next-generation autonomous vehicles.

We are currently seeking a talented engineer based in Seoul, South Korea, with proven experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Design end-to-end architectures for automated driving with a strong focus on planning and decision-making, leveraging large language models (LLMs) to enable advanced reasoning and optimization.
  • Develop reinforcement learning algorithms for real-world autonomous vehicle control.
  • Research and develop planning and prediction technologies for autonomous driving systems, including behavior, motion, and trajectory prediction.

As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with world-class experts in deep learning and autonomous driving across the globe. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge innovations that will shape the future of mobility.

Required Qualifications

- Strong understanding and experience of deep learning

- Proficiency in one of deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, …)

- Good communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Good programming skills in Python/C/C++

- 10+ years of related work experience

- Industry experience working with(in) OEM/Tier-1 for automated driving

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
