General Summary:

The Quality & Reliability Department has an open for a reliability engineer. Preferred candidate shall have expertise in semiconductor product reliability tests, statistical analysis, and familiar with the AEC-Q100, EIA/JEDEC standards. Knowledge of IC package, PCB, wafer level process, assembly process is a plus.

Job responsibilities for this position include automotive product reliability qualification/safe launch/burn-in planning, reliability test hardware, software review/verification, reliability test data/statistics analysis & reporting, interface with internal teams (engineering, sourcing, program management) and external suppliers.

Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in semiconductor product reliability tests, including ELFR, HTOL, ESD, Latch-up, package level preconditioning, unbiased HAST or Autoclave, biased HAST or THB, Temperature Cycling, Power Temperature Cycling, HTS, etc. and statistical analysis (such as Weibull).

- Familiar with AEC-Q100, JEDEC, IPC and other industry specifications

- Understanding of failure analysis techniques, including CSAM, OM, curve tracing, FIB, etc.

- Must be a strong written and oral communicator

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DOE, FMEA, ISO 9000, ISO 26262, ADAS, etc.

- Experience of wafer process, PCB, package assembly, test, solder joint/board level reliability

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Supplier Quality Assurance experience (e.g., quality analysis, audit) or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Supplier Quality Assurance experience (e.g., quality analysis, audit) or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Supplier Quality Assurance experience (e.g., quality analysis, audit) or related work experience.
