Serves as the primary SAP D&A strategic point of contact, coordinating success resources across SAP and customer teams, and guiding initial adoption, retention, and loyalty. Analyzes customer needs, develops consumption plans, and acts as the voice of the customer to internal SAP stakeholders while collaborating with cross-functional groups.

What you'll do

The Data & AI (D&AI) Customer Success Manager (CSM) will proactively engage with an assigned portfolio of customers to drive them to leverage D&AI to integrate, manage, and analyze business data, fueling AI with trusted, context-rich information.

The D&AI CSM will build relationships with technical decision-makers to ensure that SAP customers' consumption of D&AI Cloud services aligns with SAP's Intelligent Enterprise strategy. The D&AI CSM will also engage customers to activate their initial adoption, promote retention, and foster loyalty.

As the D&AI-CSM Senior Advisor, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with customers to sustainably increase their consumption of SAP Data & AI (D&AI) services and coordinating activities with the Account Team by building out a joint outcome-based plan and driving a mutual understanding of IT architecture and business value
  • Understanding the big picture, delivering expertise in digital transformation, and advising on technical and business architectures
  • Serving as the primary SAP D&AI strategic point of contact and orchestrating success resources across SAP and customers by leveraging assets of the SAP D&AI engagement model
  • Analyzing your customer's technical needs and executing consumption plans for your assigned customers
  • Providing recommendations and preparing the customer to make the best use of the solution, in alignment with SAP's strategy and roadmap
  • Acting as a voice of the customer to internal SAP stakeholders
  • Collaborating with colleagues from various groups, including Cloud Success Services life-cycle relevant centers of experts, Account Teams, Pre-sales, Product Management groups, Support, Services, and Partners  
  • The D&AI-CSM Senior Advisor may also be assigned to fulfill a customer's premium subscription services

What you bring

  • 5-6 years of experience in areas such as Software Engineering, Solution Management, Project/Product Management, Project Implementation, Pre-sales, Technical Customer Engagement, Customer Success, Proactive Support Services, or Consulting
  • Foundational knowledge of Analytics Solution and/or public cloud platforms (PaaS)
  • Excellent understanding of one or more areas of the SAP D&AI portfolio: SAC, BDC, BW, etc.
  • Professional experience with implementing cloud initiatives
  • Multi-lingual skills are a plus, depending on the region
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
