What you'll build

You will join an environment where product architecture, engineering excellence, and AI powered innovation converge. Your work will help shape how Product Management and Engineering collaborate in an AI native future. Examples of what you’ll drive or support:

Product & Innovation Support

• Translate AI opportunities into business relevant concepts, use cases, and early prototypes
• Contribute to idea evaluation, feasibility assessments, and value impact discussions
• Support the preparation of stories, narratives, and leadership materials that clarify product direction

Collaboration Model & Strategic Enablement

• Help operationalize a modern collaboration model between Product Management & Engineering
• Co create innovation frameworks, governance structures, and lightweight processes
• Coordinate structured feedback loops and help align stakeholders across functions

AI Driven Exploration

• Apply and experiment with AI tools that enhance decision making, productivity, and strategy work
• Support early exploration of AI powered product ideas - e.g., optimizations in Commodity Management
• Help assess market relevance, customer value, and innovation potential of emerging concepts

What you bring

We welcome students (f/m/d) who are passionate about the intersection of business, product thinking, and AI. Ideally, you're a university student (f/m/d), studying Business Administration, Information Systems, Innovation Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

You are a great fit if you:

• Bring business curiosity and can think in terms of customer value, strategy, and product impact
• Enjoy working conceptually and can turn complex ideas into clear structures
• Have affinity for technology and AI (no deep coding required, but technical openness is key)
• Communicate clearly and confidently with diverse stakeholders
• Can work independently, manage multiple topics, and contribute proactively
• Are comfortable with MS Office; SharePoint/ Teams experience is a plus
• Are fluent in English; German is a plus
• Working from the Walldorf office is required occasionally and based on prior agreement

Where you belong

You will be part of SAP Industry Product Engineering, collaborating with teams that define architecture, product direction, and AI aligned ways of working. You’ll be embedded in a modern, exploratory environment where:

• Product strategy meets engineering execution
• AI becomes a core driver of how we design, build, and run products
• New ideas are tested quickly via structured exploration tracks, early prototypes, and incubation inspirations

You’ll contribute to a space where ideas become prototypes, collaboration becomes a structured operating model, and AI becomes an integral part of how we build products.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
