The Cortex AI Functions product team is expanding and offers a rare opportunity to define how AI is operationalized inside one of the world’s most trusted data platforms, while getting the opportunity to work with some of the largest and most sophisticated organizations in the world. Over 5,000+ customers across all industries are already using Cortex AI Functions to extract meaning from unstructured data and to power analytics over millions of multimodal data assets, all while maintaining enterprise-grade guarantees around security, performance, and cost predictability.

The target opportunities are massive but still new and ambiguous. This role requires someone with the tenacity to drive adoption at scale and the experience to operate at the intersection of AI, platform engineering, and customer experience. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand customers and prospective customers needs and their use cases

• Lead the development of product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis

• Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture

• Define compelling product and go-to-market proposals based on your strategy and vision that ultimately drive business growth

• Drive product launches including working with marketing, sales, product team, members, and other executives.

• Work closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products to market

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Good understanding of AI methods, as well as databases and distributed data processing systems.

• Ability to design complex AI product features hiding complexity while focusing on the customer's view of the world, intuitive experience, ease-of-understanding and ease-of-use for the end user.

• Strong understanding of the cloud competitive landscape (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• 3+ years working as a Product Manager (an enterprise product).

• Excellent communication skills.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Track record of successful product launches that leverage AI/ML technologies

• Strong technical background with ability to evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to technical discussions

• Hands-on experience with deep learning, generative neural models and computer vision, as well as databases and distributed data processing systems.

• Experience with using Large Language Models, building AI Workflows, and agentic frameworks,

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with research scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders

• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PHD) in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other technical fields.
