This role is for an experienced site reliability engineer to lead automation in systems observability at a financial markets firm. The candidate will manage observability tools, metrics, dashboards, and automated monitoring in an infrastructure-as-code environment. Strong Linux, DevOps, and cloud/on-prem experience is required.
SRE - Observability & Automation
A leading financial markets firm are implementing site reliability engineering principals and are looking for an experienced technologist to drive automation in systems observability.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Linux and DevOps professional with a mixture of on-prem and cloud-based experience to play a key role in deploying and managing observability tools, metrics, and dashboards, and driving automated monitoring, alerting and incident response in an infrastructure-as-code environment.
You should apply for this role if you are/have:
- 5+ years in Platform/DevOps/SRE engineering or related
- Prometeus, Grafana, Golang preferred
- Very strong Linux experience both on-prem and virtual
- Containerisation experience using Podman or Docker
- Terraform, Ansible; CI/CD experience
- Experience to datacentre and compute hardware services
- Degree educated or higher in Engineering, Computer Science or related
This is a £550-600/day PAYE role (employers taxes paid separately) initially for six months.
