Join the team responsible for building and maintaining developer pipelines and tooling at the heart of our engineering organisation. The role focuses on empowering developers by improving velocity and day-to-day experience, streamlining workflows, reducing friction, and ensuring tools meet the highest standards of performance and security. You will mentor non-senior engineers, collaborate with fellow engineers to implement new features and services, and actively participate in incident response and blameless post-mortems to improve our product, technologies, and team culture. This permanent, full-time Platform Engineer role is based in Melbourne with opportunities across our global engineering platform.

- You have extensive prior experience working in DevOps environments.
- You have proven hands-on coding skills in one or more programming languages, such as Go, Java (SpringBoot), and TypeScript (React, Next.js); experience across all is highly advantageous.
- Strong back-end development experience, particularly focused on development tooling.
- You have exposure to key technologies, including CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitHub), machine-readable registries and repositories, and applied automation.
- Proven ability to apply technical expertise across complex systems, shaping architecture and design to align with organisational priorities and scalability needs.
- You have experience leading complex technical initiatives. mentoring other developers, sharing knowledge, and mapping business goals to product design.
- Demonstrated interest and experience in AI/LLM methods and frameworks, with the ability to discuss your work, experiments, and learnings.
- Willingness to share insights on what you have built, what you have broken, and your perspective on limitations or challenges in AI/LLM technologies.
