Lead the architecture design, development, and optimization of OKX's Middleware platform with a focus on Service Mesh and Microservices governance. Drive the introduction, implementation, and deep customization of Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Envoy, and MOSN for large-scale distributed systems. Deeply engage in architecture design and performance optimization of RPC frameworks like Dubbo to enable multi-protocol and multi-language service governance. Contribute to technology selection, architecture reviews, and strategies to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability, while staying ahead of cloud-native trends.

About the Team

The Middleware team covers multiple domains, including: Microservice Governance, RPC frameworks, Message Queues, and Data Middleware. They provide robust infrastructure support for the entire company's business and product lines.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead the architecture design, development, and optimization of the company’s Middleware platform with a focus on Service Mesh, driving the continuous evolution of Microservices governance.
Take charge of the introduction, implementation, and deep customization of mainstream Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Envoy, and Ant Group’s MOSN, addressing core challenges in service governance, traffic management, and security for large-scale distributed systems.
Participate deeply in the architecture design and performance optimization of mainstream RPC frameworks like Dubbo, enhancing multi-protocol and multi-language service interoperability and governance capabilities.
Contribute to technology selection, architecture reviews, and technical problem-solving for the company’s Middleware products, promoting high availability, high performance, and scalability of the Middleware platform.
Stay up-to-date with cutting-edge technologies in Service Mesh, Microservices, and cloud-native fields, and drive innovative practices and technology adoption based on business scenarios.

What We Look For In You

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related fields, with 5+ years of experience in Middleware or distributed systems development.
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Service Mesh, including its principles, architecture, implementation challenges, and industry best practices.
Proficient in mainstream Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Envoy, and Ant Group’s MOSN, with proven experience in large-scale production environments.
In-depth knowledge of the Dubbo architecture, including its protocols, extension mechanisms, and integration with Service Mesh; extensive practical experience in the RPC domain.
Proficient in Java, C++, and Golang, with the ability to develop and optimize Middleware across multiple languages.
Familiar with microservices, cloud-native, and containerization technologies (such as Kubernetes); experience in Middleware platform architecture and implementation is a plus.
Strong system analysis and troubleshooting skills, capable of independently handling complex system architecture and technical challenges.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, passion for technology, strong sense of responsibility, and self-motivation
