Senior Full-Stack Engineer on the Ad Unit team responsible for end-to-end ad features spanning ad unit logic, mobile SDK integration, and event gateway services. Collaborates with SDK, backend, and QA to ensure reliable, low-latency event generation and delivery from client-side SDKs to backend systems. Designs cross-cutting features across ad rendering, native SDKs, and APIs, focusing on latency, error handling, and maintainability. Proactively improves systems and fosters cross-team collaboration to drive features from concept to release.

We are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join as a senior individual contributor on the Ad Unit team. You will own end-to-end ad features that span ad unit logic, mobile SDK integration, and event gateway services.

What you'll be doing
- Act as a senior individual contributor on the Ad Unit team, owning end-to-end ad features that span ad unit logic, mobile SDK integration, and event gateway services.
- Work closely with the SDK team to ensure reliable, performant event generation and delivery from client-side SDKs to backend systems.
- Design and implement end-to-end ad features, coordinating changes across ad unit rendering, native SDKs, and backend APIs.
- Partner with backend teams to design and evolve gateway APIs.
- Ensure features are implemented with strong attention to latency, error handling, and reliability, especially for client-facing flows.
- Proactively improve existing systems, abstractions, and development practices to reduce complexity and enable faster iteration.
- Exercise sound technical judgment when balancing UX requirements, backend complexity, performance, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, SDK engineers, backend teams, and QA to drive features from concept through release.
- Participate actively in design and code reviews, contributing to overall engineering quality and cross-team alignment.
What we're looking for
- Experience working on Ads platforms, monetization systems, or real-time client-facing services.
- Strong proficiency in Go
- Familiarity with high-throughput event ingestion services, queues, or streaming systems.
- Prior experience integrating mobile SDKs with backend services, especially in performance-sensitive environments.
- Familiarity with gateway or API-layer services that serve multiple client types.
- Experience operating in large, mature codebases with a focus on stability and maintainability.
