  • 2 years of experience in android application development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 2 years of experience with performance, systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
  • Experience developing in SwiftUI.

Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers. We are dedicated to making Google experiences centered around the user.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Write product or system development code.
  • Work with product managers, user experience researchers, and Google One backend teams to design and implement core software development kit capabilities, including Google Play/iOS billing, first-party software development kit application programming interfaces, Google One Google Mobile Services core module, and run various user interface experiments with buy flow user interfaces and user acquisition channels with server-driven native technologies.
  • Work with Photos and other cross-product area first-party partners and on mobile software development kit integration and powering more in-app interventions within first-party apps via Google One’s growth engine.
  • Work with other Google One pillars (premium, segments, subscriber life-cycle, growth infrastructure) on supporting new product features, e.g., artificial intelligence ultra plan, student plan, Workspace add-on, original equipment manufacturer electronic funds transfer offers.
