As an Android Software Development Engineer in the Last Mile Prdct&Tech group, you will help build mobile foundations powering the Last Mile delivery experience on Android devices. You’ll develop scalable, high-performance mobile components used by hundreds of engineers and deliver end-to-end features for a fast-paced, startup-like environment. You will identify opportunities, design solutions, review code, and collaborate with world-class engineers to deliver large, impactful projects that touch millions of customers. A strong emphasis is placed on agility, innovation, and work-life balance.
Key job responsibilities
As a key member of the Last Mile Mobile Delivery app team you will be an innovator, playing a direct role in shaping and building products that partner teams rely on and customers love on top of Amazon's technology. Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of Android development experience- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
