Key job responsibilities
- Develop test strategies, test plans, and automated test cases
- Build test infrastructure/environment to support manual and automation test execution
- Use technical knowledge to create, execute, and maintain test plans and automation involving one or more product components and/or features
- Create and maintain automation scripts, and execute automated test cases.
- Debug/Troubleshoot test failures/automation failures and isolate bugs to help developers research the root cause of defects
- Perform initial defect triage and root cause analysis, and escalate roadblocks/risks
- Improve test mechanisms and best practices

The Amazon Emerging Devices Software (EDS) is part of the Amazon Devices team. We design and engineer high-profile consumer electronics, including the best-selling Echo devices. Our portfolio also includes innovative devices like Amazon Echo buds, Echo Frames and Echo Auto. What will you help us create next?

Basic Qualifications

- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience scripting or coding
- Experience developing high quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development or testing
- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
