Join Adobe's Analytics team in Bucharest as a Senior Software Development Engineer. We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Adobe Analytics team based in Bucharest.

What you'll Do

  • Transform business requirements into feature specifications

  • Build and maintain high-performance, scalable solutions

  • Be involved in all product development and delivery stages as part of a unified engineering team: build, coding, code review, unit testing, bug fixing, operations

  • Perform on-call activities, on rotation with the rest of the team

  • Be part of an agile, highly collaborative, and passionate team developing new products and features

  • Research various technologies useful for the project and stay up to date with the evolution of the Analytics market

  • Improve your technical and collaboration skills

What you need to succeed

  • Computer Science degree and/or 6+ years of relevant work experience

  • Excellent understanding of OOP, Functional Programming, and Typed Languages (Java or Scala); familiarity with/interest in LLM frameworks and Python is a plus

  • Strong algorithm, logical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with writing maintainable, secure and performant code

  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies

  • Ability to take initiative to address technical challenges, self-motivation, continuous improvement approach

  • Dedication to delivering high-quality products, demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness both in testing and code development

  • Experience with cloud services platforms (AWS and/or Azure) is desirable

  • Experience with building, delivering, and operating high-quality SaaS solutions: testing, CI/CD, monitoring, infrastructure as code

  • Experience using data-intensive processing frameworks and technologies: Spark, Flink, Kafka Streaming, Hadoop, HBase, MapReduce, Kafka; operational experience is a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Highly collaborative working style.
