About the Job:

As a Java Developer at Allianz Technology, you will be an integral part of our agile cross-functional teams, contributing to the development and maintenance of innovative web solutions. You will be responsible for translating functional and technical requirements into software design and implementation, ensuring that our systems are performant, secure, and user-friendly. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment. 

What You Do:

• Record, analyze, and review functional and technical requirements with regard to technical implementation and feasibility; translate requirements into technical software design and implementation
• Ensure that non-functional solution requirements are met, including performance, data protection, IT security, and ergonomics/user-friendliness
• Ensure the future maintainability of the systems, taking the technical and functional environment into account in the overall context of software development and maintenance
• Engage in software development within agile cross-functional teams using agile methods (SCRUM).
• Manage incidents and problems for the relevant systems
• Maintain and optimize the relevant systems, ensuring performance and availability 

What You Bring:

• University degree in computer science or training as an IT expert in software development.
• Several years of experience with JAVA, SOAPUI, and REST services
• Knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases
• Experience with cloud development platforms such as AWS and Azure, and familiarity with Apache Tomcat.
• Experience with ElasticSearch
• Ability to apply agile methods, particularly SCRUM
• Experience with agile tools such as Jira
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use
