Amazon is looking for a Software Development Engineer who is passionate, innovative and have a heart for Nourishing People and the Planet. You will be working on designing and developing long term, scalable and high-impact programs within the Worldwide Grocery Stores Tech (WWGST) organization.

Our team leads the development and delivery of food production services that empower team members to create fresh, prepared foods for customers. We support both in-store kitchens and innovative centralized kitchen facilities across Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Stores retail brands, including Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Go, and Amazon Same-Day. By building scalable production capabilities, we enable consistent quality and operational excellence across diverse store formats.

Our mission is to transform food manufacturing by developing and implementing innovative, automated production processes. We leverage state-of-the-art tools and facilities to revolutionize how food is produced at scale, delivering safer, higher-quality products to customers while driving operational excellence across our manufacturing operations.

You will design, develop, and deploy reliable distributed solutions at Amazon scale, working with core technologies including Java, Linux, and AWS services. Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
