Join Aviva Services Excellence Centre as a QA Test Engineer with automation. You will set up tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) to enable test automation and integration with downstream processes, and develop and maintain test plans, test cases and scripts. You will establish efficient test data generation with minimal dependencies on external teams and continuously seek opportunities to automate manual tests. What will you be doing?
Setting necessary tools (e.g. Azure DevOps) to enable test automation and integration with downstream processes
Developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, test scripts
Establishing an efficient way to generate test data with less dependencies to external teams
Continuously looking for opportunities to automate tests in the pack of manual tests
What we’re looking for?
Ideally:
Around 1 year of commercial (preferred) or academic experience in a similar role
The individual has an automation mindset, appetite for innovation, and continuous improvement
Hybrid skillset of software development and testing is mandatory
Skilled with Java or C# or Python programming language, preferably with proficiency in at least 2 languages
Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps
Experience with using BDD frameworks
Experience with building a test automation solution from scratch is a big plus
Understanding and direct experience with databases, web services, APIs, and cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
Keen on latest technology such as AI and machine learning
Eager to cross-skill to different technologies with ease
ISTQB Fundamentals and Test Automation Engineer certifications are ideal but not mandatory
AWS Cloud Practitioner and Azure Fundamentals certifications are ideal but not mandatory
