The Assistant Manager - Java API Developer will contribute to API-related information systems and help design and realize software architecture to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure API solutions. The role includes analyzing and troubleshooting production incidents, managing vulnerabilities with tools such as NexusIQ, JFrog Xray/Artifactory, and SonarQube, and working within an Agile/Scrum environment. It requires 6+ years of hands-on API development and 7+ years as a software engineer, with strong Java (8+), Spring Boot/Cloud, RESTful microservices, Oracle/PostgreSQL databases, and CI/CD proficiency with Kubernetes/OpenShift. The position is based in Chennai as part of BNP Paribas India Solutions.

Position Purpose:
The developer helps with the development of API-related information systems and contributes to ensuring its continuity through personal effort as part of a team or to a limited extent within the department to achieve short-term and occasionally medium-term goals.They help in the development and realization of the software architecture as a contribution to high-quality software solutions in accordance with the applicable best practices (maintainable, safe, documented, scalable, testable and in accordance with the needs of the business area).

- Several years of experience in analysis and troubleshooting of productions Incidents / issues.
- Vulnerability Management with tools like NexusIQ/JFrog Xray/Artifactory/SonarQube
- Strong communication skills and Englisch language proficiency comparable to CEFR level C1
- Agile Software-Development (Scrum)
