Senior Associate, Production Services Application Support Analyst

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Production Services Application Support to join our team. This role is located in Pune.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Maintains and supports Execution Services Platform applications (FX/Fixed Income/Reg Reporting) and their operating environment.
  • Level 2/3 application support to solve more complex application issues
  • Act as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for all incidents, problems and changes related to applications specific to the line of business
  • Identify repeatable manual tasks and lead efforts to automate utilizing AI solutions and other tools
  • Proactively identify and manage continuity, security and resiliency risks that impact the business
  • Works to ensure appropriate monitoring and alerting setup.
  • Collaborates with business and application development stakeholders.
  • Production readiness reviews for new releases and validate the supportability of changes prior to introduction into production.
  • Contributing to automation of Disaster recovery and data center rotation exercise.
  • Partnership with Development team to automate Deployments and release validations using Pipelines.
  • Monitors changes to applications and their operating environment.
  • Create and maintain support documentation and procedures

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
  • 10-12 years of experience in applications support or production environment required; A strong sense of customer commitment
  • Experience in the financial services industry is must.
  • Coordinated with front office and other support teams, locally and globally, to address trade related enquiries and issues
  • Analytic and data driven experience in supporting applications part of the Trade Lifecycle
  • Well-organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in supporting Java, .NET based applications
  • Experience in supporting middleware technologies MQ/Kafka
  • Experience with SQL and Oracle databases and writing complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with monitoring tools – Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, Moog soft or related solutions
  • Coding skills in Java/C#/Python to automate manual work and building utilities for BAU work.
  • Experience in deployment and strong debugging skills
  • Familiarity with ITIL Service Management.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate alerts that cannot be resolved to appropriate section
  • Prioritize and handle service requests, incidents, change management and problem tickets
  • Should be willing to work on weekends and shifts
