The ideal candidate will design and implement robust automation solutions for API and web applications in an Agile environment. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining API automation scripts with Rest Assured; performing functional, regression, and integration testing for RESTful services; collaborating with developers and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria; and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).

Your Role
We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in API testing using Rest Assured and Java-based automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will design and implement robust automation solutions for API and web applications in an Agile environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain API automation scripts using Rest Assured.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for RESTful services.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).
Your Profile
- Analyze API responses, validate payloads, headers, and status codes.
- Troubleshoot automation issues and optimize scripts for performance and reliability.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API automation.
- Good understanding of HTTP/REST, JSON/XML, and web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git) and version control.
- Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
