Senior IT Application Consultant in Capgemini's Wroclaw team, delivering end-to-end application support within the ADM Center. You’ll analyze complex incidents, perform source code analysis and modernization, manage deployment and release processes, and drive automation to improve the application environment. The role requires at least 5 years of hands-on experience in application support, strong knowledge of Linux/Cloud, integration/middleware, programming languages (Java, Python, C#, SQL), and ITIL familiarity; English at B2 level and basic German. YOUR TEAM:

Application Development & Maintenance (ADM Center) provides comprehensive end-to-end IT services from business specification, through software development, implementation, to application maintenance using leading it technologies and management methods.

We enthusiastically institute solutions in the fields of DevOps, SRE, low-code, broadly understood Automation and AI.

The complexity and diversity of solutions allows to build close relationships with our clients on various levels, while also to give employees the opportunity to develop in a wide range of career paths. Our development teams are highly self-organizing and independent, capable in agile and lean software engineering practices.

YOUR TASKS:

  • providing multifaceted support for applications;
  • analyzing complex, non-standard incidents and problems;
  • conducting source code analysis and modernization;
  • managing deployment and release processes;
  • improving and automating the application environment.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • a master’s, engineer’s or bachelor’s degree;
  • at least 5 years of hands-on experience in application support;
  • knowledge of aspects of system administration (Linux, Cloud), integration (Middleware, SOA, ESB) and automation (CI/CD, RPA);
  • knowledge of programming languages (JAVA, Python, C#, C++, VBA) and databases (SQL);
  • experience in support and maintenance – knowledge of ITIL will be an asset;
  • English on a B2 level;
  • a basic command of German (we will provide support in further learning).
