Serve as a Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer, working with a cross-functional team on a range of AEM, EDS, and Edge Delivery engagements. Design content and delivery architectures, establish standards for EDS-based site development, and lead engineering teams across AEM, EDS, front-end, back-end, and DevOps. Drive integrations between AEM, Adobe Experience Cloud components, and EDS publishing flows, and mentor developers on AEM Cloud Service and edge delivery architectures. Your role

As a Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer, you will work alongside a team of like-minded individuals within the Adobe community and partner closely with our clients on a wide variety of collaborative and innovative engagements.


You will play a key role in:

  • Design content and delivery architectures supporting hybrid authoring (AEM Core Components, Content Fragments, universal editors, spreadsheets, and Git‑based Edge workflows).
  • Establish standards and best practices for EDS‑based site development, including:
  • Block‑based architecture
  • Edge‑optimized rendering models
  • Lead engineering teams across AEM, EDS, front‑end, back‑end, and DevOps disciplines.
  • Provide hands-on guidance for: Block development for EDS, AEM–EDS integration patterns
  • Performance tuning at the edge
  • Mentor developers on modern AEM Cloud Service and Edge Delivery architectures.
  • Integration & Development
  • Design and oversee integrations between AEM, Adobe Experience Cloud (Analytics, Target, Launch), and EDS publishing flows.
  • Lead development of:
  • OSGi services and Sling Models for AEM Sites
  • Edge blocks, CSS/JS bundles, and GitHub workflows
  • Custom workflows, APIs, and dispatcher/CDN configuration
  • Ensure content consistency and publishing pipelines across AEM and Edge Delivery.
  • Work closely with business teams, UX/design, content authors, and platform engineering to define architecture and delivery strategy.
  • Support roadmap planning, estimation, and solution governance across multiple digital teams.

Your profile

  • Strong understanding in Architecture & Solution Design
  • End-to-end solutions across AEM Sites, AEM as a Cloud Service, and Edge Delivery Services for performance‑driven, globally distributed web experiences.
  • 7+ years in enterprise CMS or digital platforms, with 5+ years hands‑on AEM experience.
  • Proven experience architecting AEM Sites and AEM Cloud Service solutions.
  • Direct experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services, including:
  • Block‑based architecture, EDS front‑end frameworks
  • GitHub file‑based content workflows
  • Edge performance optimisation
  • Strong Java, OSGi, Sling, JCR, and REST API expertise.
  • Strong front‑end experience (JavaScript, CSS, HTML5; React/Next.js a plus).
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience implementing multisite, multilingual, or multi‑brand architectures using AEM + EDS.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
