Capgemini is seeking an Embedded Automotive Senior Backend Developer (Java) to join its dynamic team. The role involves designing and implementing microservices and distributed systems, leveraging Java (Java 21), GCP (GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL), and modern DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira). The candidate should have strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills to guide development teams and drive technical decisions. Requires 3+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years using Java, and a degree in software engineering or computer science.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Automotive Senior BackEnd Developer (Java) to join our dynamic team.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Core Technical Skills:
- Experience designing and developing microservices systems, distributed systems, event-sourced systems, CQRS, functional programming, Big Data architectures, stream systems, message brokers (Kafka), and object/storage files with an S3 interface.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform GCP, specifically GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
- Knowledge of programming methodologies, design patterns, and basic algorithms.
- Knowledge of the OAuth2 authentication protocol (Keycloak) and the REST communication paradigm.
- Fluency in software development in the most common programming languages (Java version 21, Python), modeling and querying RDBMS and NoSQL (BigQuery).
- Familiarity with the Atlassian DevOps toolchain, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
