• Our Corporate Bank Technology team is a global team of 3000 coders (and growing!) across 30 countries. The primary businesses that Corporate Bank support are Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust & Agency Services. CB Technology support these businesses through CIO aligned teams and also by 'horizontals' such as Client Connectivity, Surveillance and Regulatory, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, and Risk & Control.

About the Team - Client Connectivity

• Client Connectivity Technology is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the Corporate Bank’s online and channel products, messaging, conversion, and integration solutions.
• It is also driving a vision of frictionless on-boarding, product enablement, digital identity, and user management as well as the CB digital client services and API agenda. The Client Connectivity teams are all about enabling clients and internal processes to be connected in a standardized and efficient manner for the future.

Your Role - What You’ll Do

• The Corporate Bank is undergoing a strategic investment to re-envision and transform the client service experience from the ground up. We will use the platform to create a modern self-service capability, integrated with our back-end processing platforms, to shorten the resolution time for issues and speed up transaction processing.
• The program of work has ambitious targets for revenue growth and generation and is part of some very high profile deliveries for the Corporate Bank. You will work as a cloud engineer of this critical program, shaping the solution and ensuring proper utilization of native cloud technologies, Deutsche Bank standards, and transaction processing capabilities.
• Your role will include specification, architectural design, and development, as well as the testing and rollout of new features. You are expected to understand our product roadmap, integrate business value with experience, and build an engineering culture within the team.
• We expect the successful candidate to deliver high quality software and to be passionate about software engineering. You must have a strong, proficient understanding of software development concepts. You will also be responsible for developing easy to support software and liaise with our SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) team to factor in their requirements.

Your key responsibilities

• Own the design and development of new functionality and integration points into existing platforms
• Familiar with Microservices design and Produce well-written documentation for each microservice
• Contribute on functional and non-functional requirements, technical analysis and design
• Understanding of the Design Patterns, Architectural Blueprints, UML and Application Design
• Ensure that a robust, scalable and flexible solution is delivered
• Coding and testing, reviewing team member’s changes
• Document business and functional requirements, design decisions and APIs
• Co-working with QA team on test automation of new and existing functionality
• Contribute to the definition of future state of the system architecture
• Mentor and direct more junior team members

Your skills and experience

• Experience in implementing Java Spring Boot
• Excellent expertise in Java 8, Multithreading, Microservices,
• Expertise in UI technologies, especially React
• Proficiency in Advanced SQL
• Good exposure and progressive experience working on GCP and integrations
• Strong hands on experience on Spring core and Spring JPA
• Experienced in using GIT and Maven
• Good with CI/CD - Jenkins
• CI best practices (SCM, build automation, unit testing), perform code reviews
• Experience of working within Agile & BDD frameworks is essential as are strong communication skills and teamwork
• Experience working with AI tools and knowledge of LLMs
• Certification in Google Cloud data engineer and MongoDB is preferable
