DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation. We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas. Deutsche Bank is renewing its workflow automation technology. DBFlow is a new platform aiming at simplifying business processes interactions and automation by using modern technologies specific to this domain. The core of the platform is managing all platform business processes and provides core functionalities, libraries, indexing, data enhancement and user interaction to onboarded use cases. The goal is to have high availability and high-performance platform infrastructure with focus on fast business adoption with low downtimes. Core technologies are Java, Camunda, Spring, Hibernate and Elasticsearch deployed on OpenShift/Kubernetes environments and automated by E2E CI/CD pipelines. The QA Automation Engineer is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall Workflow platform including analysis, development, and administration. Work includes planning and developing engineering solutions to accomplish business goals, building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering. Responsibilities include planning and implementing the full set of test automation activities: creating, maintaining, and executing automated tests, extending existing frameworks, performing load and performance testing; providing input to project and release plans, defect/change management processes, systems integration, testing tools and processes; gathering testing requirements and syncing between IT and Business teams; assisting IT application team in achieving quality product by identifying defects and deficiencies; identifying areas of weakness in existing procedures, implementing new procedures, and assessing risk of impact from changes to projects; performing manual testing when required. Skills required include automation framework tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, BDD, Serenity, Rest Assured, CI/CD solutions or similar; proficient coding skills with Java (nice to have: Design Patterns, Spring, SpringBoot); excellent backend testing skills (e.g. API Testing, Postman), ability to perform load and performance testing (e.g. with JMeter); excellent skills in test planning, designing, test strategy/case/script creation and execution; experience with integration and regression testing and coordination with supporting systems.
