Role Description

The Engineering team support the Passive Investments Portfolio business and are responsible for the definition of the Target State Architecture. The team are responsible for adherence to rules and defined roadmap, provide horizontal oversight and architectural and technical governance. You will be working in the front office team which works directly with the business and supports the Passive Investments Portfolio business.

Your key responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize the existing automation suite.
  • Design and implement automated test cases for new features and business scenarios.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and manual QA to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the team to resolve issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and processes.
  • Document test cases, procedures, and results.

Your skills and experience

  • Strong automation skills using Selenium or a similar automation test technology is essential, SQL/VBA/Python knowledge is valuable
  • Proficiency in a programming language used for automation (e.g., Java)
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
  • Investment related product knowledge with exposure to Index, Passive/Synthetic and/or Derivative instruments is beneficial
  • Knowledge of the relevant products of Bloomberg, Reuters, Barra, Aladdin, along with portfolio and risk analytics systems would also be beneficial.
