Senior Engineer (f/m/x) - Single Sign-On (SSO) Services Engineering Job ID: R0408829 Full/Part-Time: Full-time Regular/Temporary: Regular Listed: 2025-12-22 Location: Frankfurt Position Overview As a Senior Engineer (f/m/x), you’ll join the Single Sign-On (SSO) Services Engineering team. You will directly collaborate with business departments, SL2 and Engineering team (local and remote) to ensure Production Stability. Together with the teams you will focus on different types of SL3 tasks with primary focus on Production Stability and vulnerability management. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be providing support as needed to ensure that SSO Services (Cloud & Onpremise) are highly available. Your key responsibilities - Act as the senior level of technical support (L3) for authentication / SSO-related incidents - Perform deep dive debugging of Java services, SAML/OAuth2/OpenID Connect flows, and federation issues - Collaborate with L2 & Development teams to resolve escalations that require code-level or system-level expertise - Provide consistent and comprehensive communication on system stability to senior stakeholders - Drive root cause analysis and system stability improvements to avoid reoccurrence of production issues; formulate and prioritize technical tasks to enhance system maintainability - Own and drive the streamlining of SL3 support processes - Be a subject matter expert in Single Sign landscape - Champion best practices for incident resolution, vulnerability remediation, security & compliance Your skills and experiences - Strong experience in developing solutions using Java - Several years of experience in production support of systems in a complex environment - Very good SQL and Unix knowledge. Experience in bash / Python scripting is a plus - Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving skills - Analytical skills, structured approach, attention to details; high discipline and stress resistance; ability to take ownership of tasks up to full completion - University degree with technological or scientific focus or equivalent working experience. - Strong Experience working with Google Cloud architecture, Docker, Kubernetes and any of these Public Clouds: AWS, Azure, GCP - You have a hands-on attitude, curiosity, make use of your problem-solving skills and speak fluently English. - Strong communication and collaboration skills What we offer We provide you with a comprehensive portfolio of benefits and offerings to support both, your private and professional needs. - Emotionally and mentally balanced: A positive mind helps us master the challenges of everyday life – both professionally and privately.
