Tech Lead Engineer

Position Overview

Corporate Banking is a technology centric business, with an increasing move to real-time processing, an increasing appetite from customers for integrated systems and access to supporting data. This means that technology is more important than ever for the business.

We are looking for a seasoned engineer able to make us better at designing and building. We found out that the best way to build a long-lasting product is to have a group of very competent engineers that exchange ideas, work together and complement each other.

Skills:

• Good experience with Java (we estimate min. 7 years would be required)
• Ability to design and build distributed systems / microservices in a resilient, reliable way with low latency and test your application through and out
• Knowledge of working with OpenShift/Kubernetes or other containerization products
• Have production in mind when designing/building the applications
• Working knowledge with relational databases
• Good knowledge about the technologies we work with: Kafka, MQ, OpenAPI/Kubernetes, REST, SSL concepts
• Nice to have experience with BDD, Gradle, Jenkins, Spring Boot, Apache Camel

Responsibilities:

• Design and build solutions
• Guide other colleagues through the implementation process
• Build automation tests
• Deploy applications through the environments all the way into Production
• Be on call for Production Incidents
• Shape the future of our technology stack and applying it innovatively to solve complex problems.
