EY is seeking a Guidewire PolicyCenter/Claims Centre Support Manager with 9+ years of experience to lead support projects. The role involves guiding Guidewire PolicyCenter support and maintenance, designing, building, supporting, and performing defect fixes, and performing root cause analysis with fixes and enhancements. You will manage proactive monitoring, on-call support on a rotational roster, and oversee Guidewire PC configuration & integration, SLAs and KPIs to ensure successful project execution. Strong expertise in Guidewire, Java/J2EE, and related tools (ServiceNow, JIRA, SOAP/REST, Eclipse, SVN, Jenkins) is essential.

The opportunity

  • Guidewire Claim Centre Support Manager with minimum experience level of 9+ years.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Guidewire PolicyCenter Support and Maintenance (Manager 9+ years) who has the prior experience to manage support projects.
  • Responsible for designing, building, supporting, and performing defect fixes.
  • Performing Root Cause Analysis and provide fixes.
  • Enhancements and code changes.
  • Must be flexible to work in shifts (Rotational Shift – India Shift, US Shift) and On Call Support on a roster-ed rotational basis.
  • Proactive monitoring.
  • Manages the Guidewire PC Configuration & Integration.
  • Designs, modifies and implements Guidewire product suite.
  • Should be able to manage the key SLA’s and KPI’s for the successful execution of project.

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Deep understanding of Guidewire framework Policy Centre, implementation, architecture and components
  • Must have Guidewire PolicyCenter 9.0 version + technical/functional/cloud certification.
  • Well versed in development streams - Configuration/Integration/Both
  • Hands on experience in Java/J2EE like web services, API integration.
  • Experience in production support activities like queue management, plug-in related issues, batch file generations.
  • Experience with tools like Service-now, JIRA, soap-ui, eclipse IDE, SVN, Jenkins.
  • Understand service management and change management activities, along with SLAa and estimator tools.
  • Have exposure to working in shifts and on-call support.
  • Should have worked on incident management and problem management.
  • Should have idea on SDLC life cycle along with release planning and management.
  • Working knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT
  • Strong in SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System
  • Should have strong knowledge and experience on Tomcat and or WebSphere/WebLogic
