Builds scalable, high-performance applications, supports testing and release management, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement business solutions.

Develops and maintains full stack Web applications using Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE), Tomcat, REST APIs, Spring/Spring Boot, Maven, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3. Develops and delivers new or enhanced applications, during all phases of the development lifecycle. Aligns standard methodologies for Object-Oriented Design (OOD), coding standards, RESTful service consumption and integration, common design patterns, secure application development, and test coverage. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
Analyzes various use cases and resolves impediments.
Automates internal and external processes to provide the best customer and developer experiences.
Develops full stack Web applications.
Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
Drives release management aspects of projects.
Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
Develops comprehensive application documentation.
Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
Collaborates with cross-functional squads, squad leads, analysts, designers, and other engineers.
Drives innovation by staying up to date with the latest technologies and helps to integrate them into the development process.
Communicates effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates.
Builds scalable and high-performance applications that can handle increasing user loads and data volumes.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (or closely related occupation) performing development of Single Page Applications (SPA) using Angular and Java/J2ee Spring frameworks.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (or closely related occupation) performing development of Single Page Applications (SPA) using Angular and Java/J2ee Spring frameworks.
Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:
Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing responsive full stack Web applications that consume Representational State Transfer (REST APIs), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), and Web services, using Java and Spring/Spring Boot for the middle layer, and deploying on Tomcat application server; performing client-side development, using HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Angular, and JavaScript/TypeScript; and developing highly scalable microservices, using Spring/Spring Boot and Oracle database.
DE performing project lifecycle (analysis, design, development, implementation, support and enhancement) of Web applications, using Java full stack technologies, Web services, and Agile methodology; and applying enterprise integration and build practices, using Spring/Spring Boot, Apache Maven, and OOD principles.
DE configuring and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, using Jenkins, Artifactory, IBM UrbanCode Deploy (UDeploy), and Linux scripting; automating application deployment workflows, using GitHub, Jenkins, AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Splunk, and Datadog; conducting code security scans and remediated vulnerabilities, using Mend and SonarQube; and performing code reviews to improve application performance and maintaining good code coverage in the applications, using Junit Test Cases.
DE designing and developing highly scalable and SPA to achieve cross-browser compatibility and accessibility, using standards-compliant client-side technologies -- HTML5, CSS3, JQUERY, JSON, Angular, Bootstrap, AJAX, and JavaScript/Typescript.
