Develops and maintains web applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Angular, building scalable, full-stack software solutions. Crafts UI with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and creates reusable templates with Angular and Node.js. Builds and tests APIs and microservices with Python, Golang, and Swagger API design, and containerizes apps with Docker for Kubernetes deployments. Works across multiple projects, supporting testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), documentation, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
Job Description:

Builds and improves software and Web applications using Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Core, and Spring Boot. Develops User Interaction (UI) screens using HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, and Angular. Creates reusable templates using Angular directives and Node Package Manager (NPM) manager tools -- Node.js. Develops single page applications (SPA) using Typescript and maintains application features using test automation frameworks and tools -- JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and Cypress. Develops and designs software products to improve the quality, security, and stability of customer experiences. Supports and integrates RESTful services using Web service formats (JSON and XML). Creates and enhances Application Programming Interface (API) design components, including versions, isolation, and micro-services, using modeling languages -- Swagger. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications. Develops APIs using Python and Golang. Containerizes applications using Docker and deploys them using Kubernetes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
Supports project plans for projects of moderate scope.
Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing, building and testing Web applications, using Angular, Node.js, or Java.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing, building, and testing Web applications, using Angular, Node.js, or Java.
Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:
Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing and developing full stack Java-based multi-tier architectures, using Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Oracle, PostgreSQL and testing frameworks (Groovy, Jasmine, and Junit).
DE designing and executing Automation Test scripts using Junit and Cucumber; automating unit test cases using Jasmine and Karma testing frameworks; and building and maintaining end-to-end testing using Cypress.
DE implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for enterprise applications, using Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, and Kubernetes automated application deployment flows.
DE designing and implementing Cloud infrastructure practices for enterprise applications using AWS Cloud (Elastic Cloud Storage (ECS), Simple Storage Service (S3), and Lambda); supporting and monitoring application logs using AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, and Elastic search; and creating alerts and monitors using Splunk queries to proactively resolve application run time issues.
