Post Execution Platform Engineering is responsible for driving the Post Trade strategy for Global Markets. This team builds and manages post-trade workflows that is used by various businesses across GBM to book, reconcile and enable timely settlements of their trades. The team works in close collaboration with other engineering teams front to back to build various post-trade solutions.

Your Impact

The team is looking to expand in Bengaluru to work on initiatives for building new and innovative solutions for Post Trade strategy. You will be working closely with multiple engineering teams front to back to help design and build various front office foundational services and help onboard businesses onto the strategic booking and reconciliation platform. You will work with some of the best minds in the industry and get an opportunity to interact with various engineering teams across the globe to achieve common goals front to back.

Basic Qualifications

As part of our global team, we are seeking a skilled back-end developer with strong communication skills to join our team and help work on key initiatives. We expect you to be a self-starter and eager to solve complex problems with guidance from senior members in the team. Our team promotes a culture of innovation and creative thinking to build modern robust systems. Effectively meeting the demands of our challenging mandate requires a passion for learning as well as deep understanding and experience across a wide array of technical competencies. You will use your engineering and problem-solving skills to deliver solutions which apply cutting-edge technologies and design principles to address challenging business and technical problems.

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
  • Minimum 3 plus year of experience in software development
  • A solid understanding of object orientated programming skills (Java or any other OO technology) including data structures and algorithms
  • Sound SDLC practices and ability to debug and troubleshoot problems
  • Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated
  • Experience collaborating in global teams and possesses strong interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with automated testing, DevOps and Continuous Deployment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Git, awareness of CI/CD and other modern SDLC practice
  • Experience in modern message-oriented middleware e.g. Kafka
  • Knowledge of Financial Services is an added advantage
