Goldman Sachs is hiring an Associate-level software engineer for the Transaction Banking Data Platform in Bengaluru. The role requires strong Java/Spring Boot development skills to build REST APIs and design distributed systems, with experience in performance testing, authentication/authorization, and system design. Basic Qualifications

3+ years of relevant professional experience using a modern programming language (preferably Java)
BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving programming or systems engineering.
Proficiency in development with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs
Experience engineering solutions with distributed tracing, performance testing, authentication, authorization
Proficiency with algorithms, data structures, and system design
Experience with UNIX operating systems, infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform), networking
Experience working independently in a fast paced and often multi-direction work environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS
Experience in financial services
Experience with development and design of distributed systems
Experience with SQL, NoSQL (Dynamo/Mongo DB)
