We are looking for a Java developer with at least 3 years of professional experience and knowledge of Automic Automation / UC4 to join our IT team in Prague. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated workflows and job schedules, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting operations across Unix, SAP, and Automic environments.
We are seeking a Java developer with at least 3 years of proffesional experience and good understanding of Automic Automation / UC4 to join our IT team in Prague.
You will design, develop, and maintain automated workflows and job schedules using Java and Automic Automation / UC4, ensuring efficient and reliable process execution across SAP environments.
Your tasks
- Design, implement and optimize Java code as the primary development task, ensuring scalability, maintainability and performance
- Contribute to the overall UC4 job scheduling landscape by applying Automic Automation (UC4) as well as scripting technologies (Automic Script, Unix Shell, Perl, Windows Batch) where required
- Drive the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis, technical design and coding through to testing and deployment
- Provide support to the operations team in analyzing and troubleshooting automation issues across Unix, SAP and Automic environments
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into efficient automation solutions
Your profile
- Completed studies, ideally in the field of (business) informatics or comparable qualification
- Sound knowledge and experience with test design and implementation
- Experience with scripting
- Ability to learn new technologies, including additional scripting and Job scheduling frameworks
- Experience with Automic software (formerly UC4) or willingness to learn it
- Sound knowledge and experience in MsAccess, VBA programming and JAVA programming
- Working experience with SAP is an advantage
