We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist.

Business: Cross Product Tech

Principal responsibilities

• Ensure platforms are production ready and manage the ongoing fine tuning of scalability and montitoring
• Clarify requirement from key business stake holders and sponsors in organized way
• Plan project activity with clear schedule
• Conduct project activity including solution communication, setup test environment and implement production release etc. on schedule
• Provide support for production issue if any
• Coordinate with other teams that interface with AI Markets to compile with all necessary requirement for cyber security, Risk&Control as well as audit and IAM

Requirements

• Must have excellent knowledge of Java, Springboot., Python, Golang (live programming drills will form part of the interview process
• Hands on experience deploying and managing apps on public cloud (e.g. AWS, Alicloud or GCP)
• Experience in building out monitoring technology
• Proficient in setting up Kubernetes (CKA or CKAD preferrable)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in verbal and written English.
• Strong customer focus and commitment to delivery.
• Good relationship management skills
• Excellent problem solving and service support skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver high quality results under tight schedule and high pressure
• Quick learner

Ideal Experience (following skills/experiences would be an added advantage)

• Excellence understanding of a functional programming language
• Understanding of Capital Markets products or previous working experience in high volume trading enviornment (e.g. Retail)
• Working in a global team with different cultures
• Strong focus and dedication to providing a stable service to customers/consumers

What additional skills will be good to have?

• Having Machine Learning development experience is preferred
