Principal responsibilities

This position will work for one of team under GBPW business on Core Banking Wealth platform and it is responsible for global projects to support settlement and custodian service for retail customers in HSBC which contain securities product transaction settlement, corporate action, fee and charge calculation etc. The role will have a privilege to work with a talented global team on different technical initiatives. The applications are back-end systems which are built on iSeries platform and AWS Cloud. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team from below area：

• Collaborate with other developers, testers, and support teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge within the team
• Work closely with business/project partner to analyze business requirements and provide viable technical solutions. Design and develop IT solutions according to HSBC standards/best practices and ensure a high quality standard of deliverables.
• Prepare documentation and provide support on compliance and audit checking.
• Provide system support of business applications and resolve problems that may occur during business hours and non-business hours. Ensuring the service availability according to the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Provide 3rd line support on existing IT solutions. Participating in service recovery with support team in case needed.
• Participate actively in Agile and Devops, explore and promote tools which could improve team efficiency and quality.
