Job Overview

Join ING WB Tech PH as a Java Engineer where you will be part of a cross-functional

team of talented individuals. Together, your team will work with the latest technologies to

innovate and develop solutions. You will report to a Squad Lead who will guide your

professional development and help you reach your full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reliable applications

• Write automated tests

• Setup CI/CD pipelines

• Adopt a DevOps and Agile mindset

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define and design features

• Incorporate security best practices into all stages of the development

• Contribute to the team’s growth through mentorship and technical interview

participation

• Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends

Key Capabilities/Experience

• Proven track-record of building backend solutions, including implementing RESTful APIs,

interfacing with databases, and integrating with messaging services, using a modern

tech stack

• Strong fundamentals in software development, including proficiency in OOP, functional

programming, design patterns, concurrency, and TDD

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation

• Experience working in Agile, collaborating with teams, and demonstrating adaptability

in a multicultural environment

• Willingness to learn cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and IT risk

Minimum Qualifications

Must Have

• Proficiency in Java 21 or higher is preferred

• Competency in Spring and Spring boot

• Experience in code versioning tools, preferably Git

• Experience in Test Automation (JUnit, Mockito, etc.)

• Working knowledge in RESTful API Development

• Effective Communication

Good to Have

• Experience with database technologies such as SQL, JPA, Hibernate, etc.

• Working knowledge in Microservices Architecture, Containerization, and Orchestration

• Experience with CI/CD platforms, preferably Azure DevOps, and build tools such as

Maven

• An Agile mindset
