Lead Java Developer in the Employee Compliance Technology team, acting as an individual contributor within a feature team to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable solutions for employee compliance. Job Summary:
As a Lead Java Developer in the Employee Compliance Technology team, you will serve as an individual contributor within a feature team, designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable solutions for employee compliance. You will leverage your expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and GOS DB to deliver business-critical features. You will collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and team members to ensure high-quality, secure, and compliant solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Java applications for employee compliance solutions.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
  • Work with GOS DB for data modeling, query optimization, and integration.
  • Collaborate with feature team members, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver business-critical features.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and best practice adoption.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Expertise in building RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
  • Strong experience with GOS DB (Global Operational Store Database) or similar enterprise databases.
  • Proven track record as an individual contributor in agile feature teams.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, testing, and code quality.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive technical solutions from conception to deployment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in employee compliance or regulatory technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies relevant to compliance and data management.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization.
