Lead Java Developer in the Employee Compliance Technology team, acting as an individual contributor within a feature team to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable solutions for employee compliance. You will build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot or similar frameworks, with a focus on performance, security, and scalability. You will work with GOS DB for data modeling, query optimization, and integration, while collaborating with product owners, stakeholders, and team members to deliver high-quality, secure, and compliant solutions. You will participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and drive continuous improvement of development processes and tools to meet regulatory and security standards.

Job Summary:
As a Lead Java Developer in the Employee Compliance Technology team, you will serve as an individual contributor within a feature team, designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable solutions for employee compliance. You will leverage your expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and GOS DB to deliver business-critical features. You will collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and team members to ensure high-quality, secure, and compliant solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Java applications for employee compliance solutions.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
- Work with GOS DB for data modeling, query optimization, and integration.
- Collaborate with feature team members, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver business-critical features.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and best practice adoption.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Expertise in building RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
- Strong experience with GOS DB (Global Operational Store Database) or similar enterprise databases.
- Proven track record as an individual contributor in agile feature teams.
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, testing, and code quality.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive technical solutions from conception to deployment.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in employee compliance or regulatory technology solutions.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies relevant to compliance and data management.
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization.
