As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking technology team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
- Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance
- Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications
- Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation
- Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity
- Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development
- Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems
- Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Hands-on experience on core Java, Spring and REST services
- Strong Java, J2EE and Micro services design and development experience.
- Strong experience in RDBMS(Oracle)
- Strong technical development experience on effectively writing code, code reviews, best practices code refactoring
- Hands-on knowledge on cloud Technology. Containers and Kafka or any streaming technology
- Experience with various source control tools like GIT
- Good understanding of Jenkins CI/CD, Maven/Gradle
- Excellent knowledge in developing resilient and high quality deliverables.

- Should have an experience of leading high performing agile teams
- Exposure to Public cloud technologies
- Good to have experience in Splunk, Dynatrace tools
