As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Testing Center of Excellence Team, you will play a pivotal role in our global team.. Your responsibilities will include conducting systematic application functionality tests, diligently documenting results, and ensuring clear communication with all relevant stakeholders. Your expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, Java, and BDD/TDD will be vital in ensuring the superior quality of our software and promptly resolving any issues. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to our monthly/quarterly testing results reports and to automate Regression and Functional test cases.
Job responsibilities
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
- Demonstrate expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, and Java.
- Apply expertise in BDD/TDD (Behavior Driven Development/Test Driven Development).
- Utilize version control systems such as Bitbucket and Git.
- Develop automation frameworks using core Java.
- Maintain Keyword, Data, and Hybrid automation frameworks.
- Manage test data using SQL.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive test reports.
- Apply knowledge of Agile practices in testing environments.
- Use test design tools such as Conformiq.
- Apply performance testing knowledge using JMeter.

- Demonstrate proficiency in performance testing using JMeter.
- Implement advanced test design strategies with tools like Conformiq.
- Mentor team members in automation best practices.
