As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the Community and Consumer Banking (CCB), you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Adobe AEM
- Implement and configure AEM components, templates, workflows, and services
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and business stakeholders
- Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
- Integrate AEM with other enterprise systems and third-party services
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of AEM solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AEM
- Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe AEM and DAM solutions
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Hands-on experience with Adobe AEM (Sites, Assets, Forms, etc.)
- Experience with cloud-based AEM (AEM as a Cloud Service)
- Experience with AEM architecture, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with AEM development tools (CRXDE, Maven, Eclipse/IntelliJ)
- Proficiency in Java, Springboot, Microservice architecture, Kafka
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Adobe AEM certification
- Exposure to cloud technologies
