Senior automation test engineer role within JPMorgan Chase's Markets Tech Team responsible for designing, developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web, backend and API applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage, identify and resolve defects, and contribute to CI/CD and performance testing efforts. Participate in agile ceremonies, document framework and processes, and manage multiple projects/priorities in a dynamic environment.

- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, backend and API applications.Collaborate with cross functional and business teams to understand application requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation script, framework and process.Work with Developers, BA and Product team to identify and address bugs and inconsistencies in software.Be responsible to handle multiple projects at the same time.Be proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment.Participate and contribute in agile ceremonies .Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ yearsapplied experience3+ years of experience in software testing.Experience of open-source User Interface (UI) test tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Play wright etc.Strong understanding of any programming language like Java and Python, Java Script.Writing test automation scripts using BDD Tools - Cucumber, Spec flow, Gherkin etc.Experience of API Testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI etc.Support and evolve CI/CD Platform for continuous testing.Experience in performance test execution like JMeter.Hands on experience on Git /Gitlab runners /equivalent.
