Design, develop and implement software solutions and contribute across the full software development lifecycle. Solve business problems through engineering practices, participate in code reviews, and help translate requirements into scalable software modules. Work with project managers and analysts to analyze business requirements and propose designs, while using Java/Spring for enterprise applications and modern front-end technologies. Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Senior Systems Operations Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including plugin management and pipeline scripting using Jenkins; Developing enterprise-level applications using the Spring framework, including Spring Boot and Spring MVC; Building applications using Java and object-oriented design and development principles; Front-end and back-end development, using JavaScript, Node.js, React, and Angular; Data analysis, automation, and application development, using Python, including at least one of the following libraries: Pandas or NumPy; Writing and maintaining shell scripts for task automation and system management; Writing SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation using database design and optimization principles including normalization, indexing, query optimization, data modeling, backup and recovery, storage considerations, and database security; Deploying, managing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting Java applications on Apache Tomcat servers; Deploying, configuring, optimizing the performance of, and managing enterprise applications using IBM WebSphere; Managing projects and dependencies, automating builds, and developing custom plugins using Maven; Deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications and performing cluster management and orchestration using Kubernetes; Infrastructure provisioning and management using AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda; Application performance monitoring and analysis, including identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks using Dynatrace; NoSQL database management, including data modeling, indexing, and query optimization using MongoDB; Oracle database administration, including performance tuning, backup, recovery, and PL/SQL programming; Log analysis and monitoring, including creating dashboards and alerts for operational insights using Splunk; Version control, including branching strategies, merge conflict resolution, and repository management using GIT; Writing and executing unit tests using JUnit; Applying unit testing practices and frameworks; Designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure as code solutions, including writing and managing configuration files for cloud resource provisioning using Terraform; Secrets management and environment variable management in application development using Doppler; Monitoring cloud infrastructure and applications and setting up metrics, logs, and traces using Datadog.
