What you’ll do in the role:

Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Lead Software Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to design and develop software testing approach and strategy and execute critical programs leveraging varied tools and automation frameworks. Develop, build out, and execute Integration programs. Review requirement specifications, identify gaps, and determine testability and testing implications. Work with Test Manager and other Test Analysts to plan and execute testing tasks. Identify and create test scenarios, design, and develop test scripts. Log defects in defect tracking system and follow entered defects through lifecycle of creation to resolution. Perform periodic oversight of test reports to ensure appropriate severities and priorities are assessed to defects. Work closely with business analysts, business subject matter experts, and development teams to clarify and resolve testing issues. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

What you’ll bring to the role:

-Requires a Bachelor's degree in BioTechnology, Information Technology, or a related technology field of study.

-Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Software Development Engineer, Manager, Product Specialist, or a closely related occupation.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $177,000 and $177,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
