Design, develop, and optimize core components of livestreaming systems to support high-concurrency, low-latency video experiences. You will work on deploying low-level infrastructure from scratch and building features that keep millions of users engaged in real time. You will troubleshoot production issues, ensure system robustness, and collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and SREs to deliver scalable, high-quality livestream solutions.

About The Team
Our Livestream engineering team is responsible for the architecture and delivery of high-concurrency, low-latency video experiences. We build the tools that allow millions of users to engage with the world in real-time. You'll have a chance to dive into technical depth—from deploying low-level infrastructure from scratch to building the core features that keep our global community engaged.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize core components of livestreaming systems.
- Continuously improve the architecture and performance of the messaging infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and low latency, in-line with business growth.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments, ensuring system robustness and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, and SREs to deliver high-quality features and solutions.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computing.
- Solid foundation in Java programming, with in-depth understanding of JVM tuning, I/O, multithreading, concurrency frameworks, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Familiar with commonly used middleware such as MQ, RPC frameworks, caching, and databases; experience with production-level issue troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge of microservices and distributed system architecture and principles (e.g., service discovery, tracing, CAP theorem, consistency models).
- Clear logic, fast learner, strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working on high-throughput and low-latency systems is a strong plus.
