What you’ll do
- As part of our Redwood team, you will focus on developing technical solutions within our trading system to facilitate onboarding and ongoing support of the Cubist systematic trading business
- Develop real-time, low-latency solutions for order-entry, order-routing and risk management across a variety of asset classes and regions
- Custom binary protocol development for order-entry and counter-party execution
- Risk management rule development for new asset classes
- Complex event processing for trading-system anomaly detection
- Realtime cross-site position updates for global risk calculations
What’s required
- 8-10 years of experience in front office trading system development
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, finance, or a related field
- Strong coding abilities, highly proficient in Java development and coding practices
- Experience working on a sequencer-based technology platform
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The annual base salary range for this role is $250,000-$300,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
