About the role

As a member of our Search Team, you’ll be an important contributor on our SaaS commerce platform, delivering features end-to-end across the stack. You’ll design, build, test, deploy, and support high-quality components with a strong emphasis on business value, performance, security, and maintainability.

Role and task

• Develop cloud native application for SAP Commerce Cloud landscape
• Design and build APIs and interfaces to enable smooth communication between AI services and commerce systems
• Drive the design and realization of search capabilities based on various tools and technologies, including Solr, OpenSearch and AI based semantic search
• Deliver and evolve backend services in Java, with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud/Spring Security, exposing well-documented REST APIs
• Write robust automated tests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business goals
• Monitor and optimize solution integrations for performance and reliability

What you bring

• Proficiency and good knowledge of Java programming (5+ years)
• High level of understanding RESTful APIs and system integration
• Experience in a Git and Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) environment, including familiarity with related processes and tools
• Solid knowledge of cloud-oriented technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Experience in designing and implementing software components for native Cloud solutions
• A strong commitment to consistently producing high-quality, functional outcome
• Capability and enthusiasm to innovate and adapt to evolving technologies, frameworks, and more
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively, mentor less experienced colleagues
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Compensation Range Transparency

SAP believes pay transparency is essential for cultivating an honest, supportive, and inclusive culture, representing a significant step in our commitment to leading the way in achieving pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range, which includes both base salary and variable incentive targets for the career level of the posted role. The target range for this position is 255500 - 383300(PLN) [EUR]. The actual amount offered to successful candidates will fall within this range and will depend on factors such as education, skills, experience, and role scope, as determined during the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a target amount, with the actual payout depending on both company and individual performance.
