About the role:
As a developer in our FX Sales Frontend development team, you will work hands-on with new and updating features for the Foreign Exchange, that our traders and external customers use.
As a developer, you will be part of a cross-functional team consisting of developers, quality engineers, a UX designer, a Scrum Master, and a Product Owner.
In this role, you will primarily work with Java and JavaScript, using frameworks such as Spring Boot and Angular, and collaborate closely with the business throughout the software development lifecycle.
As a person we believe that you are passionate about development, really enjoy coding and eager to constantly learn and develop new skills. You take responsibility for software quality, writing maintainable and efficient code that holds up over time. Its meriting if you have knowledge or interest in foreign exchange or trading in general and can communicate in both English and Swedish.
Your analytical mindset will be essential for understanding complex FX trading data.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
· Experience in software development, with an interest in building, maintaining, and evolving systems over time.
· Ability and interest in understanding the system beyond individual components.
· Proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript.
· A relevant degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
· An analytical mindset.
· Familiarity with DevOps practices and contribution to automated workflows for build, testing, security scanning, and deployment; containerization (e.g. Docker) is an advantage.
Nice to have:
· Experience working in a financial context, such as FX.
